SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Multifamily Leadership has announced the official ranking for the 2020 “Best Places to Work Multifamily” program at the Multifamily Leadership Innovation Summit held in Scottsdale, Arizona. The multifamily housing industry, serving apartment communities and their residents, contributes more than 3.4 trillion-dollars to the economy annually, supporting more than 17.5 million jobs. Not only do apartment homes drive jobs that strengthen local communities, but they also provide individuals and families a place to call their own, as renting has become a smart choice in today s economy.
The business environment of the 21st century is characterized by rampant competition between businesses, an ever-increasing reliance on technologies, and, most importantly, a heightened appreciation for the quality of a workplace and its overall culture. The Best Places to Work Multifamily program recognizes those companies that have established and consistently fostered outstanding workplace environments. Multifamily Leadership s rigorous assessment process evaluated each company s employee policies and procedures, as well as responses from the company s employees. The program is part of a long-term initiative to encourage growth and excellence throughout the multifamily housing industry, while attracting new talent, innovators, and leaders within our sector.
Patrick Antrim, Founder and CEO of Multifamily Leadership explained, If you want to know if a particular company is a great place to work, it is as simple as asking the people who work there. Next-generation employees want to know their company is making a positive impact on the world, supporting a distinct vision and mission, and fulfilling that very vision and mission.”
The program also helps companies, who want to improve their business through critique and feedback. The Employee Feedback Report is presented to each participating company of “Best Places to Work Multifamily”, even if it did not make the official list. The report summarizes employee engagement, satisfaction data, and written employee comments. The report is used by many organizations to make significant improvements in their workplace culture throughout the calendar year.
During this year s Summit, national benchmark data from participating organizations were compiled and research specific to the multifamily housing industry was revealed. Multifamily leaders, looking to fast-track their success, will leverage practices that best-in-class organizations are already implementing in order to create great resident experiences and strong financial results. To successfully attract next-generation employees, progressive leaders need to create a high-quality workplace experience to sustain their competitive advantage.
